The Grave Robbers' Chronicles: I Want to Join the Main Cast Every Day

This story was inspired by Betraying the Wang Family Every Day, but unfortunately that one was abandoned too. I thought the premise was really gripping, so I started writing. I don't know if I'll abandon this one too. I'm leaving the blurb here in case anyone wants to pick it up. I'll write when I have time. Wang Rui is a promising young man from the 21st century and a professional hitman. He was double-crossed during a mission, shot in the head, and ended up in the world of The Grave Robbers' Chronicles. Unfortunately, he's the true heir of the Wang family, born with the blood of the phoenix. Even worse, he receives a mission from the Boss to follow Wu Xie and keep an eye on him. They've even picked out the identity he'll disguise himself as: Wang Mengmeng. And then things get even better: the mission changes. The Boss wants him to go into the tomb with them, earn Zhang Qiling and Wu Xie's trust, and, if possible, lure them over to the Wang family. Wang Rui falls silent. Maybe the Wang family lacks a little self-awareness. Better to destroy it. The Seven-Star Lu Palace, the Xisha Undersea Tomb, Qinling, the Heavenly Palace in the Clouds, the Snake Marsh Ghost City, and the Zhang Family Ancient Tower: their relationship grows closer and closer, while his identity is gradually revealed. Wang Rui has never read The Grave Robbers' Chronicles. Everything he knows about Wu Xie and Little Brother comes from the Wang family. He doesn't think much of the Wang family, and his bond with the Iron Triangle was forged through one life-and-death experience after another. Theme: A bond forged through life and death must not be betrayed
