The Ugly Heiress

Wen Wan transmigrated, and her original self was fat.

(Note: Not a pleasantly plump flower, but an exceptionally obese oddball.)

Her original self confessed her feelings to the man she loved, and he gave her a mirror, telling her to see for herself whether the mirror could even hold her basin-sized face.

(Wen Wan: Goodness, don't they say classical beauties have faces as round as silver basins? I was born beautiful.)

Overcome with shame, her original self found a long strip of white silk and tried to hang herself. But she was so fat that the rope snapped, she fell, and died.

(Note: So she didn't hang herself. She died from the fall.)

------------------- Scene break ---------

Wen Wan wanted to live a good life on behalf of her original self.

Holding to the idea that "every fat person has hidden potential," she began her "eighteen transformations from girl to slender beauty" plan.

Just a few days later, a refined and elegant young nobleman stopped her. "Miss, you are more beautiful than anyone who came before or will come after. Please marry me."

Wen Wan's eyes widened.

Tsk, tsk, tsk. This slimming plan is working a little too well!
