Li Jingyuan and Sheng Jiluo stood on the bridge, with sandstorms raging behind them, whipping Li Jingyuan's hair into the air.

They stood close together, and Li Jingyuan's windblown hair tickled Sheng Jiluo's face.

"Do you know where the abyss lies?" Li Jingyuan suddenly asked.

"This is the place closest to the abyss of the universe."

Sheng Jiluo froze, looking a little incredulous.

--Because Li Jingyuan wasn't pointing somewhere else. She was pointing at her own heart.

"This is the abyss of the universe. Everything you don't know is hidden here. Would you like to come and see?"

Sheng Jiluo smiled, her voice trembling almost imperceptibly.

"Of course. It would be my honor."
