Minamoto no Yorimitsu x Kidomaru
The world setting of the Onmyoji mobile game
After the Battle of the Mountains and Seas ends, Minamoto no Yorimitsu fails to reforge Kidomaru and has no choice but to ask Seimei for help, tracing Kidomaru's obsession through his dreams.
The story of Kidomaru's origins as a member of the oni clan. Minamoto no Yorimitsu is ruthless and focused on his career.
Crimson snow blooms deep red with purpose,
How many times must I brush the flowers and wipe my blade?
With you, I bathe in blood and startle gods and demons,
With me, you face the wind and drink on the jade terrace.
Tonight, the land is buried with demon bones,
Through the passing years, the moonlight makes me suspect a soul has returned.
Rain at dusk beyond the cold window, cherry blossoms blown away,
Yet silver hair conceals a heart filled with deep longing.
(By the way, every chapter title is named after a cherry blossom variety I really like. Look them up if you're interested. Spring is here, so let's go enjoy the flowers!)
Theme: Sightseeing in Heian-kyo to see the cherry blossoms, and catching up on the Minamoto clan's gossip along the way.
