I Just Want to Be a Couch Potato [Book Transmigration]

Qi Nan worked hard and strove to get ahead, finally achieving his dream of becoming a lazy freeloader at thirty-five. But before he could enjoy it, Qi Nan transmigrated into a book and became a short-lived emperor who was about to be usurped. System: Get rid of Yin Ruzuo, and you can finally achieve your dream of being a lazy freeloader! Qi Nan: After putting the first half of my life into practice, I've learned one thing. System: ? Qi Nan: Live in the moment. System: What does that mean? Qi Nan: It means Yin Ruzuo can handle the affairs of state while I relax and enjoy being a lazy freeloader. System: !!! Yin Ruzuo had always known that the little emperor's weakness was an act. The little emperor had been waiting for a chance to strike, intending to take his life. Yin Ruzuo watched the little emperor scheme at his leisure, but one day he suddenly noticed that the little emperor had stopped doing anything at all and even seemed intent on handing over the power he'd worked so hard to gather. Yin Ruzuo patiently waited to see what the little emperor was really up to. Then the little emperor got drunk, blushed, and gazed at him through bleary eyes, clasping his hand and calling him Imperial Uncle over and over. Yin Ruzuo understood: the little emperor was trying to seduce him! After waking from a night of drinking, Qi Nan looked at Yin Ruzuo beside him, his mind completely blank. Who am I? Where am I? What happened? Seeing the little emperor's panicked expression, Yin Ruzuo was amused. He leaned close to the little emperor's ear and teased, "What a clever plan, Your Majesty." Qi Nan: !!! I didn't! I swear! I only want to be a lazy freeloader... [Reader's Notes] 1. Theme: If you don't work hard while you're young, you'll regret it when you're old.
