[Charlie IX] Silver Mountain Spring

An alternate-universe Charlie IX fanfic. Strong leads, wholesome ABO, original male lead X Tang Xiaoyi.

I started reading Charlie IX in elementary school. I used to go to the bookstore every week and read it while sitting by the shelves. Tang was my favorite, but for certain reasons, he might never come back.

I suddenly felt nostalgic recently, so I wrote this story. It's not from the years when Charlie IX was at its most popular; it's simply a revival to commemorate my childhood.

In a lot of fanfics, Tang is portrayed as a protector. But to me, even back in middle school, I thought he was too tired, especially after reading Turtle Island and The Tree of Life. I wanted someone to protect him in times like that, someone he could depend on and walk alongside. That's why I created the male lead for this story. He might be a bit too strong and come off as a Gary Stu, but our motto is to spoil Young Master Tang!

All the pheromones in this story are based on real perfumes with the same names.

A little plug for my new novel! It's also a Charlie IX fanfic with an original male lead, focused on the male lead's perspective. It's currently updating on Tomato Novel. Search the title to find it: Charlie IX: The Third Cilia

Theme: A story about a fresh-faced little white-flower wife who becomes a neurotic, theatrical husband and dotes on Young Master Tang.
