What Should I Do After Turning Into My Nemesis's Chinchilla?

For five years after entering the entertainment industry, Qiao Jingyun has been at loggerheads with Qiu Chuze.

When they were trainees at the same company, they fought over the number-one spot. After debuting in the same group, they battled for the top spot in popularity.

At Qiao Jingyun's most humiliating moment, Qiu Chuze even crushed his self-respect with a single check.

Only after one went solo and the other left the industry to inherit the family business did things finally quiet down.

At last rid of his nemesis, Qiao Jingyun thought his good days had finally arrived.

Then one day, he wakes up in a luxurious cat bed, with the icy face he hates so much right beside him.

Qiao Jingyun is so furious he starts cursing, but all that comes out is a string of meows. All he can do is bite Qiu Chuze's cool, pale wrist to vent his anger.

But the little kitten can't even open its mouth wide enough.

So the ferocious bite he'd planned turns into a soft, sweet lick.

Feeling the damp sensation on his skin, Qiu Chuze frowns slightly and coolly pats the cat's head.

"Xueqiu, keep being cute and you won't get any meat."

You're the one who won't get any meat. None of your family will get any meat!

Qiao Jingyun means to fight back, but the moment he smells the fresh meat, his body goes limp, as if paralyzed. He can't even move.

Qiu Chuze even grabs his soft little belly and gives him a thorough rub, his face expressionless.

Boohoo, he'll remember this grudge!

So, during the days when he turns into a cat from time to time, Qiao Jingyun launches a frenzied campaign of revenge against Qiu Chuze.

Including, but not limited to, shredding his sofa, knocking over his wardrobe, spilling his coffee, and biting his finger

Then Qiao Jingyun sees his silhouette cast by the star projector, limited-edition fan merch tucked deep in the wardrobe, precious footage on a hidden drive, and a plain ring engraved with someone's initials.

Qiao Jingyun, in his silver chinchilla cat form: "???"

Wait.

Aren't they supposed to be rivals?

In the hospital infusion room, Qiao Jingyun stares at the pale, handsome young man before him. Feverish and dazed, he still tries to keep his face stern.

"What are you doing here?"

Qiu Chuze looks down at his flushed face, the faintest curve at the corner of his mouth. He reaches out and rubs his fluffy, soft curls.

"...I'm here to take the disobedient kitten home and lock him up."
