A child who lost their parents in a famine is taken in by Wen Ren, master of the Wen household, and named Wen Ting. Raised as a young master in the Wen household, Wen Ting secretly falls in love with the eldest young master, Wen Lingcheng. Later, when Wen Lingcheng is forced to marry, Wen Ting doesn't want to stand in his way, so he leaves the Wen household. By chance, he meets Zhu Xiaoyang, a boy he had saved years earlier. Zhu Xiaoyang takes him back to his own estate, and the daily pursuit of his beloved begins.
