My Years as Empress

I am Wen Lingxi, empress, crown princess, the empress dowager's niece, and the legitimate daughter of the prime minister. I am one of the most powerful and respected women in the country.

I hold supreme power and the emperor's respect.

I say that I'm content, that this is what I want.

But am I really happy and content?

I look at my husband in name only. He has loved so many women: the pitiful Liu Ruyan, the charming Chen Qianqian, the alluring Yan Shun, or the innocent Dong Yu'er.

But he has never loved me.
