Rose at the Edge of the Ice

A modern-day story set in Emei, still featuring the story of Master, the senior sisters, and Fu Lu. If you like it, please give this terrible author a pre-save _(:з"∠)_

On the first day after returning, Fu Lu finally remembers that her name is Lu Fu, and that she is a minor character in an entertainment-industry novel.

The original Azure Dragon Gang has been changed by the author into Azure Dragon Security Consultants Ltd. because of the online content cleanup campaign. In reality, it’s just a bodyguard agency.

She searches the web for news about Master and her senior sisters, and finds them on Weibo!

After reading their profiles and some of their Weibo posts, she realizes that Master and her senior sisters have all changed personalities.

Master was born into a wealthy, powerful family. She is cool and elegant, and rarely smiles. Her fans call her the “Ice Beauty.” She has never had a single dating scandal involving a man since her debut, and has a huge following of fans who support her career.

The eldest senior sister uses her family background to snatch other people’s opportunities at every turn. As a result, her rivals have hired online trolls to smear and slander her, constantly taking digs at her behind her back.

The second senior sister is a strange combination of love-struck fool and clear-eyed realist. She was so lovesick that she left the entertainment industry at the peak of her career for a terrible man, yet so clear-eyed that she divorced him when he said her cooking tasted bad. She even changed her verified Weibo bio to “Divorced, raising two kids.”

The third senior sister is widely considered to be well-liked by the public, and she’s also a fervent fan of Master’s career. While everyone else is busy recommending her to the world, she’s busy recommending Master to the entire world!

The fourth senior sister has a naturally fiery temper and wears her heart on her sleeve. She often steps in to defend people who are being treated unfairly, and she has no shortage of incidents where she goes after someone over a minor offense.

And what about her?

Since the organization has become a company, she must still be a shabby-looking little bodyguard.

What gives Lu Fu a headache is that her senior sisters are currently trending.

They each have their own trending topics, but they’ve also all been caught up in the same trending incident. In her words, it goes like this:

The fourth senior sister publicly berates the eldest for stealing the second senior sister’s opportunities. The third senior sister, who meekly tries to play peacemaker in the comments, gets flamed along with them. Fans of all four sides start fighting online, and Weibo nearly crashes.

In less than a day, over a hundred accounts are banned. All the senior sisters lose their good public image. Even the third senior sister, who’s known for being well-liked, is accused of pretending to be nice.

Lu Fu lets out a sigh of relief. Phew... At least Master has nothing to do with it.

She tosses her phone aside, completely missing the top trending topic, “Bai Si Beats Up Scumbag.” The “explosive” tag beside it is a dark red, almost black.

And so she once again embarks on the path of making Master and her senior sisters famous in the modern world...

On the first day she reunites with Master, she sees an undissolved pill in a wineglass...

I know this plot all too well.

System: Me too.

After reuniting with Master and her senior sisters, Fu Lu: Master, cuddle with me... Eldest Senior Sister, cuddle with me... Second Senior Sister, cuddle with me... Third Senior Sister, cuddle with me... Fourth Senior Sister, cuddle with me...
