The God Above Utopia Comes with a Secret Identity

A dark gentleman sends an invitation from atop a spire. Red jewels are set in the face beneath his shadow. "Humans have a chance to choose." An unending blaze of fireworks blankets the sky. The last believer sleeps devoutly on a floating island in the heavens. "I will wait to be awakened by you, just as the witch foretold." A youth rises from the filth, gazing at the world with tenderness and determination. His horns curve upward from his head. "My star will grant your wish." A traveling bard from afar sings poems praising his ideals, drifting on the wind like dandelion seeds. "Believe in dreams. Believe in faith." After finally wresting an opportunity from the world, Bai Lige chooses to torment its ignorant inhabitants to the fullest.
