A Hogwarts Student

As an orphan, Zelo unexpectedly received a Hogwarts acceptance letter when he was eleven, and was sorted into Slytherin, the house renowned for its belief in blood purity. Raised by house-elves and uncertain of his own bloodline, Zelo trembled as he watched the pure-blood heir Draco Malfoy, the aloof Theodore Nott, and the Boy Who Lived, Harry Potter, all looking at him with curiosity. What were they going to do? Surely they weren't going to kick him out of Hogwarts...

This story begins in the characters' fourth year. A sudden virus in the wizarding world completely changed Zelo's life. The most obvious change was that Theodore Nott, who had always disliked him, suddenly started talking to him under the pretext of helping with his homework. Ivan, a first-year underclassman, invited him to the ball, too. The cool and handsome Dottin from Durmstrang took advantage of an injury to move into his home, while Draco's delicate, pale face grew darker and darker as more and more boys gathered around Zelo...

*Draco's perspective:

I know exactly what I'm doing. The future, right and wrong, pure-bloods and Muggle-borns: I don't care about any of it. I'll follow my heart and choose an answer that I may regret, but will never wish I hadn't chosen. Zelo: her name is in the birthday wish I made, and she is someone I will never give up on. I will never let her disappear from my life, never! Zelo, wait for me a little longer. Wait until I grow up, until I can hold your hand tight, until I can take you through every door you can't cross alone.

*Theodore's perspective:

"Do I regret it?" Theodore asked himself quietly. Honestly, it was awful to have all his emotions so easily swayed by someone else. In principle, he would never fall for a Muggle-born girl, but it was hard for him to say no to Zelo. He paid attention to everything she did, and when she was in danger, he was so worried he couldn't sit still. The reason he prided himself on was fragile before her, crumbling at the slightest touch. She was a forbidden delusion, a matter of the heart built up day after day, a love he could never bring himself to confess. Theodore felt a faint, helpless exhaustion. He let his love for the girl spread and grow in his heart, but when it became a towering tree, he realized he was already lost in it. The love that grew from his heart had blossomed into sorrow. Perhaps he really was beyond saving...

*Dottin's perspective

Dottin slowly closed his eyes. A tear fell onto Zelo's long hair. "Obliviate. I can't drag you into this. Forgetting is best. Forget all those filthy, desperate years..." Dottin gently laid the unconscious Zelo on the ground. Her friends from Hogwarts would be here soon, and it was time for him to leave, too. He would fight against the fate that belonged to him, but he wouldn't drag her into it again. From now on, you are Zelo Violette, with no connection to Eileen.

*Ivan's perspective

Actually, I fell for you that snowy night when I placed my hand in your warm palm. I know you don't like me being younger than you, but have you ever thought that if I weren't three years younger, I would have been the best person at Hogwarts to invite you to the ball?
