Shen Chao is an ordinary college student. His other identity is a "Soul Warden" in the Underworld, commonly known as a temporary worker between the worlds of the living and the dead.
By day, he goes bald over advanced calculus and term papers. By night, he carries a communication talisman from the Underworld and joins his partner in hunting vengeful spirits.
The new semester begins, and his roommate is haunted by a century-old ghost bride. A spirit-writing game in the abandoned teaching building spirals out of control, and an eerie "peach blossom wish" becomes popular on campus...
Shen Chao: Wait, isn't our school's KPI a little too high?
His partner, the ghost official Chu Yu, was a virtuous benefactor in his previous life and is now a civil servant in the Underworld. He's calm and professional, but Shen Chao's human way of thinking keeps throwing him off.
As campus ghost stories erupt one after another, they discover that a wicked cultivator who has been lying low for years is behind them.
Shen Chao raises his communication talisman and shouts to Chu Yu:
"Quick! Request backup from the Underworld! And ask my teacher to excuse me while you're at it!"
Theme: A new look for a new era
It's quite fun for the male protagonist to get along with his roommates [][]
