Still Have to Take the Civil Service Exam (Prequel)

In the interstellar age, the Federation sought to quietly eliminate defective products with inferior mutations and expand its sphere of influence. In Star Year 11293, the Supreme Council enacted the seventh edition of the Federation Military Service Act. Article 21 clearly stipulated that, except for public servants, all Federation citizens must serve in the military after completing their education. Men serve for ten years; women, five. But getting a government job isn't easy. The first requirement is that you must have graduated from a military high school and a military university. When Jiang Li transmigrated here, he was not only in his final year of middle school with mediocre grades, but had also become a boy. Worse still, he had just twenty-one days left before the high school entrance exam. After learning how brutal military service was, he resolved to get into a military high school, attend a military university, and become a civil servant. Theme: Work hard to change your destiny.
