Nanami is an ordinary office worker. One day, fed up with a mess at work, she went to an izakaya to vent and met a drinking buddy who was right up her alley.
"Working is shit."
The blond man who said this struck a chord with Nanami. Then the next day, they ran into each other again at the office.
"Hello, senpai. I'm Kento Nanami. I look forward to working with you from now on and contributing in my own small way to the company's bright future."
"That's not what you were saying last night...?!"
Nanami, whose outburst didn't exactly fit the image of a well-behaved young woman she'd always maintained, drew the attention of the entire company.
Nanami wanted to disappear.
But Kento Nanami, one of the people involved, remained deadpan and asked in a perfectly serious tone:
"Then, senpai, what was I saying last night...?"
Well... that working was shit.
Nanami blushed bright red. With her boss watching in confusion, she just couldn't bring herself to say it.
And so, right after introducing themselves for the first time, Nanami and Kento became the subject of office gossip.
As the rumors spread, they eventually came true.
