I'm stuck... I'm going to work on one of my upcoming stories first. Gomennasai. If I do write it, I'll post it right away.
Ongoing next door: "After a Certain Sludge-Brained Guy Dragged Me Down with Him". Blurb at the very bottom.
Upcoming: "Sports Anime Are Actually This Terrifying". Blurb at the very bottom.
Nishinomiya Izumi is a student at the police academy.
A police academy student who helps old ladies cross the street.
As he was walking through the school gates, he received a thank-you gift from an old lady he'd helped: a "System" that no one else could see, and that shattered his entire worldview.
Among other things, the System told him that after graduation, both of his childhood friends would go undercover, and one of them would have his identity exposed and take his own life.
Nishinomiya Izumi: dazed.jpg
The System said that if he managed to enter the main storyline and earn enough popularity with the audience, he could obtain perks unavailable to ordinary people: developing an ability, briefly rewinding time...
It even came with a free save function. The world had suddenly turned into an RPG.
The special abilities are no big deal. The important thing is, a motherly guy like him can't just close his eyes somewhere I can't see, right?
After working hard to save his childhood friends and several of his friends at the academy, Nishinomiya Izumi's worldview shattered all over again.
The Conan Era has begun!
Nishinomiya Izumi: Help! Is something wrong with me, or is something wrong with the world... It has to be the world, right?!
Ongoing:
Jinguji Kazuya, former candidate for an executive position in the Port Mafia, currently being hunted with great enthusiasm.
Here, I want to thank the person responsible for all this: Dazai Osamu. He made perfect use of his sludge-brained talent, getting Oda-kun and me kicked off the Port Mafia's whitelist, then putting himself and me on the blacklist.
Jinguji Kazuya: Let me say thank you. Thanks to you, all four seasons are warm.
Why not Oda-kun? Because Dazai Osamu is so good at drawing people's ire that Oda-kun has practically been forgotten. Forced smile.jpg
What can I say? I think I finally understand how Chuuya feels.
Is it too late to switch to the combat division? .jpg
I couldn't stay in Yokohama any longer, so, heartbroken, I ran off to Tokyo and opened a cafe.
The staff are friendly, the customers are nice.
All in all, life is peaceful, except there's a kid at the detective agency upstairs who seems kind of fake, and has the same bad habit as a certain sludge-brain: carrying a wiretap everywhere.
Then the certain sludge-brain pushed open my shop door one sunny afternoon and shouted with his arms raised:
"Hey, hey! I'll have a mocha with dish soap in it, please! Oh, isn't that Kazuya? Long time no see!"

Jinguji Kazuya: Dazai Osamu, back off, back off, back off!!!
This is my first time writing. I'll be loosely combining some manga I like.
The pairing might be Dazai, or I'll just see where things go.
I'm not good at writing romance, and I might give it a Te ending later.
No outline. I might write one later. It'll be mostly slice-of-life. My brain isn't up to writing even one percent of the brilliance of the strategy group.
Upcoming story blurb:
I'm Aoki Toru, a very ordinary ordinary person.
The only thing that might not be ordinary is that I've already been signed up for a 24/7 routine after death. But compared to the people around me, even that seems pretty ordinary.
For example, my childhood friends, Yukimura Seiichi and Sanada Genichiro.
One can play tennis and rob people of their five senses. The other can use tennis to unleash Wind, Forest, Fire, Mountain, Thunder, and Darkness (literally).
Then there are a few people on my high school basketball team (specifically, a certain redhead and a certain blue-haired guy).
One of them can play basketball against someone so fast he leaves afterimages. It makes me wonder when I'll get to see someone run off while the ball can't keep up.
The other can make himself invisible, with a presence so ridiculously faint.
Me: Boss (crossed out), Coach, teach me how to do that.jpg
My sadistic, unhinged boss: When are you coming back to work?
Me: ...Sorry, I didn't say anything.
I'll decide on the pairings as I go. Maybe I'll settle them in an extra.
Theme: Bad people go to hell.
Ah, I like it so much, wakuwaku!!
Press the claws, press the claws, it looks good!
