1. Ji Ningning, a minor actress, suddenly takes the internet by storm after a series of little-girl cosplay photos.
Then the backlash begins, and the whole internet mocks her: "All she can do is act cute. She has no acting skills at all."
Unable to take it anymore, Ji Ningning decides to join a reality show that tests acting ability and prove what she can do.
But Fu Linchuan, an award-winning screenwriter serving as a judge, tears her to shreds.
Wanting to cry but afraid to, Ji Ningning tries to look strong as tears well in her big, sparkling eyes.
Onlookers: "Aww... Why is she kind of cute?"
2. The Devil Fu Linchuan has spent his whole life being sharp-tongued. Now, just shy of thirty, he's about to ruin his reputation by making a young woman cry.
For some reason, the moment she cries, his heart goes into a panic. At night, he dreams of her crying so prettily, like a pear blossom in the rain.
After a week of sleepless nights, the Devil lights a cigarette. When he's finished smoking, he decides to go talk to her.
3. Fu Linchuan offers a stiff apology: "Stop crying. I was wrong."
Ji Ningning wipes her tears away. "Teacher Fu, how could you be wrong? I must be the one at fault."
Fu Linchuan: "Are you really angry? What will it take to make you stop crying?"
Ji Ningning sniffles. "Then stay farther away from me. If I can't see you, I won't cry."
Fu Linchuan: "..."
