A tale recorded
The deity asked, “Tian Luo, have you made up your mind?”
The person raised his eyes, smiling warmly like the glow of sunset. His smile was faint, like rain falling from a clear sky, each drop touching the heart. A pain and sorrow too elusive to fathom or see lingered within it, both real and unreal. “Yes.”
“Would you trade your immortal body and golden fish tail for a yearning that will endure through every life? Are you willing?” the deity asked again.
“Yes. I would trade my immortal body and golden fish tail for thoughts of her that last through every life, and a bond that endures age after age.” He looked at his own tail, his voice clear as jade and light as a sigh.
“Even if it means eternal damnation?”
“Yes, even if it means eternal damnation.”

With the zither for company at night, a thought or two of you
Waves rise like mountains, rain falls like needles,
You live at the far end of the sea,
The gods ask: would you trade your life for longing?
A love cursed across a thousand lifetimes.
A thousand years from now, someone will come from a legend,
And borrow the moon to see this longing clearly.
Borrow the moonlight to see this longing clearly.
But when the rain stopped and thunder rang out, I lost my wings.
Don’t watch me sink beneath the sea.
I regret my words, and with a touch of drunkenness, I smile and ask the heavens where my song has gone.
I summon my courage, raise a cup of wine, and sing: why didn’t I keep you that day?

This life is no different.
The martial world is in turmoil, and heroes are reborn.
The legend of Jiao Xiu, a wondrous and splendid world.
A twist of fate robs one of all five senses.
Bound together in life and death, they journey to the Yellow Springs.

Sigh~ I have been writing for more than two years since I was in high school. Most of the bits and pieces I wrote during the occasional break are now lost... It feels really pity when I think about it...
