The Nightingale Won’t Behave

Ming Ying had been in love with He Zhixun for four years. Everyone could see it except He Zhixun himself. He prided himself on being the most loveless man in A City, and he was thoroughly, unmistakably single. A friend couldn’t stand watching anymore and tried to warn him. He Zhixun lowered his eyes and smiled lazily. “Don’t use this to mess with me. I really do see her as a little sister.” Later, He Zhixun finally fell for her, but Ming Ying stopped paying him any attention. Still, when He Zhixun gave her a handbag, Ming Ying accepted it. When he bought her a car, she accepted that, too. He Zhixun nearly emptied his secret stash, but still didn’t get so much as a response. At last he couldn’t hold back. “I’m practically hanging off you every day. I’m giving you everything I have. The only thing I haven’t done is put every property deed in your name. How can you not understand what I mean?” Ming Ying: “I don’t. But you can put the property deeds in my name first.” He Zhixun: “?” “After all, you see me as your little sister,” Ming Ying said gently. “Brother, real siblings shouldn’t keep score. Besides, you’re so determined to avoid love, you’ll never have children anyway.” He Zhixun: “…” That fucking mouth of mine. - Gentle, grudge-holding, nationally beloved first love and spoiled little princess x arrogant rich boy who only knows how to spend money to win someone over Theme: Let’s leave it at that for now
