Lin Wandong had just won the KPL autumn championship when she transmigrated into a book and became a game streamer on a livestreaming platform. Then she discovered that the original owner wasn't just bad at the game, but also a fat guy weighing over two hundred jin?!
Lin Wandong: No way. I have to change this plot.
Before long, the fans in the livestream noticed that the lousy streamer was racking up triple, quadruple, and even pentakills. Her peak rank score had even surpassed that of black, the GOD captain who had always topped the leaderboard?
black's fans immediately started hating on her, saying that the fat streamer on a certain site who wouldn't show her face had been rejected after confessing to black and was so heartbroken that she'd hired boosters and match-fixers. What a joke in the esports scene.
Lin Wandong had been struggling to find a good reason to leave the streaming scene. Seeing the comments on Weibo gave her an idea.
That night, black's teammates dragged him into watching her stream. He heard the young woman on-screen sobbing softly, sounding utterly pitiful. "I was temporarily blinded and did something that disappointed everyone. Now that things have come to this, I don't have the face to keep streaming. Today is the last day of my streaming career. I, Xia Chu, am officially leaving the streaming scene tomorrow."
black: "..." You're really good at acting.

A few months later, GOD's official club announced that their starting mid laner had been replaced by a woman whose ID was winter. It was unprecedented in the scene. Everyone expected her to be met with a wave of hate, but instead she received unanimous praise from the esports community.
Random guy: Thanks for asking. I was lucky enough to see her play at the academy, and I can sum her up in one word: amazing.
Looks-obsessed fan: I saw the new group photo the club posted, and I just have to ask, has anyone noticed how gorgeous she is?!
Gossip fan: I heard this winter and God Qi have a very unusual relationship.

Later, GOD won that year's World Championship. The moment the camera cut to the team, black took off his headset and kissed winter, their genius mid laner. His fans were heartbroken, but they still sent their blessings through tears, because the two of them were just too perfect together!
But it wasn't long before fans realized that this newly famous, dazzling mid-lane killer was the same person who had once confessed to black, been mercilessly attacked by the entire esports scene, and quit streaming.
Fans: ???? So much for the lousy, fat streamer?
Lin Wandong: Lose weight in secret, then amaze everyone.
