This is a wondrous journey belonging to Miss Jane Grant. By a twist of fate, she, an avowedly single woman, finds herself traveling through the worlds of one classic novel after another.
The protagonists lead thrilling, eventful lives, but Jane Grant is more concerned with how to live a happy, comfortable life without getting married.
No one is better suited to be a bystander, and no one knows better how many deaths and murders in classic novels go unnoticed.

Updates will be irregular and depend on when I feel like writing. Progress depends on how quickly I reread the Western classics I read in the past.
(Inspiration: I have recently been revisiting classics I read in middle school, and realized that death, the eternal question, appears in them quite often. Yet some deaths get a great deal of attention, while others do not. What interests me are precisely those murders that are only briefly mentioned. So this fanfic will not feature characters from Western detective novels, since murder is exactly what those stories focus on.)
