Dedicated to everyone who keeps chasing their dreams...
"What's your wish?"
"I want to become the brightest star in the sky."
"And then?"
"Then I'll be able to find him in the sea of people."
"What kind of crap pop music is this, something you can churn out with a few clicks! Chinese pop music died in 2013!"
"You're very biased against digital music."
"Am I? Back then, selling a million albums meant going platinum. Now albums sell over a hundred million, so tell me, how many songs can everyone actually sing along to?"
"If pop music isn't popular, why call it pop music?"
"Why are you still holding on?"
"Because I know there are people like you and me. Am I giving myself too much credit?"
"No. You're drawing me in. Let's work together."
--
"Do you know what a star is?"
"I think it must be you."
"No. It's us."
P.S. A story set in the Chinese pop music scene. Hope you enjoy it.
