When a Socially Anxious Beta Becomes a Beloved Omega

Du Xingyi is a beta. He has no pheromones and doesn't have to deal with heat, making him about as ordinary as an ordinary person can be.

A lifetime of following the rules has made him quiet and reserved, with a mild case of social anxiety.

He never expected a car accident to make him switch bodies with an Omega.

A faint, sweet scent of bellflowers began to rise from his body.

A clueless junior who knows nothing about love, a paternal desk mate who silently watches over him, and those gazes lurking in dark corners all make him uneasy and afraid.

Only when the Omega he'd switched bodies with appeared before him in his original body did Du Xingyi finally breathe a sigh of relief.

At first, he heard the other say, "They're looking for me."

Later, he heard him say, "Xingyi, aren't we the closest to each other? So you love me most, right?"

Cui Bai is an Omega, and has been popular with alphas since childhood. They treat him as a fragile, delicate thing, pampering and caring for him, even as they covet and look down on him.

They see him as a rare commodity for carrying on the family line, and obedience is the label they think belongs on him.

Cui Bai tried to run away and even to destroy his glands, but neither attempt succeeded.

Then one day, he accidentally switched bodies with a beta, and a freedom he'd never known before swept over him.

For the first time, he watched himself from the outside.

When a fragile, helpless expression appeared on that familiar face, he stepped in to help.

At first, Cui Bai thought it was out of pity. Later, he realized it was possessiveness carved into his very bones.

Pairing: Former beta, now Omega, bottom, mildly socially anxious and with a wildly busy inner monologue VS obsessive, domineering alpha-hating top, with a few screws loose
