Unhinged blurb:
Fu Man is exhausted. As a goddess of prophecy, she should have been living peacefully in the Celestial Realm.
But who could have known that one day the Supreme God would give her an important mission?
Entrusted with a grave responsibility, she was to find the Evil Demon God, take his heart, and place it in the Withered Pool.
She nodded solemnly. "Supreme God, I'll take the job."
Then she discovered a huge secret, glimpsed in her prophecy:
The Evil Demon God seemed to like her.
The Divine Official told her to support all living beings and keep them in her heart.
But the three great gods next door were completely hopeless: one was love-struck, one was obsessed with meeting the Creator God, and one spent his time roaming around carefree.
The Four Divine Lords were so unreliable, and she seemed to be developing worldly desires herself.
The Celestial Realm was doomed.
Regular blurb:
The gods love all living beings, without favoring anyone.
The power of prophecy cannot change fate.
A catastrophe befalls the Celestial Realm, bringing a great upheaval.
The Great Way is rooted in the foundations of heaven and earth, yet it serves the self.
When the Great Way fills the heart, selfishness matters little.
When selfishness fills the heart, it stands against the Great Way.
Male lead gets put through the wringer + eccentric heroine. Don't scrutinize the details too closely + the worldbuilding is a mash-up.
The male lead is a crazy, unstable type. The story's values don't necessarily reflect the author's.
The writing is immature. The plotline set two thousand years before the main story will be interspersed throughout it, not told separately, so please keep that in mind. The male lead has original character details.
I'm happy as long as I enjoy writing it + I'm just passing the time, not expecting to get anything out of writing.

The male lead was given original character details from the start, based on a certain male celebrity. But one of his recent dramas left me completely disillusioned. Now, whenever I write, I can't picture what I wanted to write, so I'm putting this on hold for now. Maybe I'll pick it up again someday.
Theme: Defiance will ultimately return to the beginning
