Mystical Secrets and Arts

Every dynasty had its own banned books, but there was one book that every dynasty agreed to ban. It remained forbidden for two thousand years... Legend has it that The Book of Lu Ban is also known as "The Missing Gate." Anyone who studies it will inevitably suffer one of these fates: widowed, bereaved, orphaned, without family, or disabled. Nowadays, you can find copies of The Book of Lu Ban at street stalls, and countless people have offered scientific explanations for the legend of "The Missing Gate." What they don't know is that the copies sold today are merely the "Yang Volume," containing only superficial knowledge. The Book of Lu Ban also has a secret "Yin Volume," whose most essential teachings are recorded in a book called The True Book of Lu Ban: The Wordless Heavenly Tome. An archaeological tomb robbery stunned the authorities. The relevant department quickly sealed off the site, but a villager in the know revealed that on the day the tomb was opened, a flock of wooden kites flew out and soared into the sky, then crumbled into wood shavings before everyone's eyes. The experts called in a refined young woman named Mo Ji, known as Professor Mo. They say she is descended from Mozi, the master of mechanisms... Not long after, a punk-styled young woman showed up uninvited. She introduced herself as Gongshu Xuan. Gongshu Xuan refuted all of Mo Ji's conclusions on the spot, claimed the tomb belonged to her grandfather, and demanded compensation from the authorities. Mo Xuan: "You're so young, and your brain's already gone bad. How old are you? The owner of a two-thousand-year-old tomb is supposed to be your grandfather?" Gongshu Xuan: "Two thousand four hundred and sixty-five. What's the problem?" Theme: An ordinary story about the protagonist respecting traditional culture and continuing to learn throughout her life.
