When the Stars Fall [Mainly Fire Punch]

“Could you stop holding my hand, Fire Man? This is really gay.”

“G...a...y?”

“Gay means a guy who likes guys! You know what that means, right?”

“I don't understand.”

“That's why I hate this world with nothing in it. You even have to worry whether people will understand what you're saying.” (quietly) “It means a man who loves another man. Boy loves boy! A man liking a man, got it?”

“I don't like you.”

“I fucking... Good, because I don't like you either. So can you let go of my hand now?”

“When I'm holding your hand, the pain of being burned is much less.”

“...”

“Are you Luna's reincarnation? Even though you've become a boy, you still look exactly the same as before.”

“Sorry for having an ordinary face. I know you're really pitiful, Fire Man, but I still have to say it: I'm not your sister's reincarnation, you bastard!”

The white-haired, blue-eyed boy raised his free fist and punched the chest of the man beside him, who was surrounded by flames. Three seconds later, the surface of his pale fist had turned faintly red. The boy yelped in pain and quickly lifted his fist to blow on it. The furious boy spewed a steady stream of insults at the man, but the man said nothing. He simply walked beside the boy, silently gripping his hand tightly.

In this cruel world blanketed in snow and ice, one blue figure and one red figure walked forward together, hand in hand, through the deep snow.

(I wrote this Fire Punch fanfic for only three reasons: healing, healing, and fucking healing!)
