An intensely possessive, gloomy older brother × a silly, beautiful younger sister starved for affection
1.
At eighteen, after taking the first beating of her life, Liu Chaoyan decided to leave home with Zhou Qingji.
She gazed at him with clear, bright eyes and asked with the fearless innocence of youth, "Will you elope with me, big brother?"
The young man ignored the child's nonsense. Frowning, he carefully spread ointment over her bright-red palm.
When the girl realized she hadn't gotten his attention, she nudged him with her head in protest. Only then did Zhou Qingji glance at her coolly. "Have you thought this through, Yanyan?"
Liu Chaoyan gave him a dazzling smile and nodded vigorously.
This was her only chance to steal away the little princess.
Zhou Qingji's stern features softened slightly. He tied a pretty bow for her, unhurriedly. "Pack your Stacy bag and come see me in half an hour."
Two days later, Liu Chaoyan came back wrapped in Zhou Qingji's clothes.
Smiling, she hugged her father and told him how much she'd missed him. From then on, she never mentioned Zhou Qingji again.

When Liu Chaoyan met Zhou Qingji again, she was busy packing her things with her head bowed and didn't notice him.
The man stood at the walk-in closet's entrance, watching her stuff skirts and coats haphazardly into a suitcase, then bury her face in a fur coat and cry.
"Yanyan."
Liu Chaoyan looked up through her tears at the sound of his voice. Zhou Qingji bent down to meet her eyes, his breath washing over her.
"Don't be afraid. Big brother will take good care of you."
Relieved to have escaped the fate of a stray dog fleeing from place to place, the young woman wrapped her arms around the man's neck and happily leapt into his embrace.
After that, the servants dressed her up like a present every day. Wherever Zhou Qingji went, she had to follow him like a pet. In the end, she became a canary trapped in a castle cage.
"Yanyan, no picky eating."
"It's only a dress. I'll buy you lots more, Yanyan."
"Yanyan is always best behaved when she's asleep."
-If your only choice is to become a pampered bird in a cage, what dazzling treasure would it take to tempt you inside?
P.S.:
They are not related by blood!! Nothing happens before they are adults!
The male lead is simply staying at the female lead's home. She calls him big brother because he is older.
