Another Day of Going Head-to-Head with the Grim Reaper

"I'm afraid that when the day comes for me to die alone, no one will remember me. There won't even be anyone to gather up my increasingly rotten remains..." "Don't be afraid. If that day really comes, I'll see you off." Li Xia is a necromantic poet. Er, no, a necromantic poet doesn't mean he's one of those legendary dark creatures with a body of bones... Here's how it works: In fact, whenever a person dies on Earth, those still alive feel all sorts of things: sorrow, praise, regret, slander, hatred, and more. It is these thoughts from the living that help the dead find peace and enter the next cycle of reincarnation. Except for those who are forgotten. They can only wander forever after death. Li Xia's mission is to write a poem for those who die in silence, singing of and commemorating their lives to send them peacefully on their way. Though this is a mission he gave himself... No one else in the world seems to know about it, and no one could give him a name. So he calls himself a necromantic poet. Even though he has always believed that what he writes is poetry about life. And so the story begins. This is the story of a man who writes poems for the dead. It will probably also be a story about loneliness and dying alone. Episodic / urban fantasy / a touch of the supernatural / many original settings. Slow burn warning.
