Zhao Fuyi fought the Demon Lord Yan Yunqing for three days, never imagining she would fall to his sword and suffer a vicious slash across her neck.
As the world lay in ruins and sects were destroyed, Zhao Fuyi received a revelation from Heaven in her final moments.
It turned out she was merely a stepping stone for the male lead, Yan Yunqing, in the xianxia novel Record of the Heaven-Slaying. And the damn author actually told her, "I never meant to write a yandere, overpowered male lead! The story's gone off the rails. If you don't help me save the plot, this world is going to collapse!"
Zhao Fuyi: F*** this.
Though she was only a stepping stone, Zhao Fuyi was reborn a hundred years in the past and had no choice but to shoulder the mission of rewriting history.
At this point, Yan Yunqing was still a young disciple studying at Kunlun Academy.
Feeling the vicious scar on her neck, Zhao Fuyi resolved to personally send this cruel, murderous Demon Lord on his way!
But when she looked at the eighteen-year-old boy before her, with his clear gaze, sunny smile, and righteous bearing...
Zhao Fuyi hesitantly lowered her sword: Who is this sweet little flower?!
Yan Yunqing: QAQ
Zhao Fuyi: How did this child turn out so wrong?!
The damn author: Uh... I'll leave him to you. Please teach him how to be a decent person again!
From then on, the genius sword cultivator, Master Fuyi, who devoted herself to seeking the Dao at Kunlun Academy, took on the unprecedented responsibility of teaching the new disciples "Cultivation, Morality, and Good Character."
Years later, when Yan Yunqing, who had turned against his master, gripped her throat and happily savored her angry expression, Zhao Fuyi finally understood: he hadn't turned out wrong at all. He had always been a scheming, yandere, green-tea Demon Lord!
Yan Yunqing gazed at her with tender concern and asked, "Master, where did this scar come from?"
Zhao Fuyi: "Ha."
"How could your disciple have any bad intentions?"
"All of your disciple's bad intentions are aimed at you, Master."
