A Li is the holy son of the Heavenly Realm. His birth and fate were decided long ago. But what about Bai Ye? He is the cinnabar mole, the companion who comes after A Li's white moonlight.
He doesn't actually crave Bai Ye's company all that much.
The Yun Hall was wiped out, and Bai Ye wanted revenge. For a long time, revenge blinded him. When his hatred remained unfulfilled, he was left with nothing.
A Li is gentle, with a gentleness etched into his very bones. Bai Ye is domineering, with a forcefulness that breaks through the darkness.
That is how they found each other. But A Li is, in the end, the holy son. Bai Ye may be another side of A Li, like a reflection in a mirror, inseparable from him. But once the mirror is shattered, he can never come back.
