Lin Zhi is a very cruel insect.
Everyone who knows him says so.
When he marries the youngest general in history as his male consort, all the insects mourn for the general.
Lin Zhi even has the house extensively remodeled, adding more freshly made torture devices, ready to give the general a proper “welcome.”
Then, on the night of the wedding, just as he sneers and takes out a rope,
he gets bound by a System.
System: “Please raise your male consort's status to male lord.”
Lin Zhi sneers back. “Get lost.”
System: “Refuse the mission, and everyone's physical stats will drop by five points.”
The instant the System finishes speaking, Lin Zhi's knees buckle, and he falls straight into Yan Bai's arms.
Lin Zhi and Yan Bai: “???”
I curse you, you damn System! Turning me into a useless wreck just like that is going too far!!!
