Xin Ci is a newly born incubus who feeds on the love of others. The stronger the fortune of the person giving him love, the greater the benefit to him.
Just then, a villainous supporting character System binds itself to Xin Ci and makes him choose one of several cannon-fodder storylines to carry out.
Looking at the scripts before him, including The Jilted Fiancee of a Face-Slapping Dragon Protagonist, The Dragon Protagonist's Rival in a Trash-to-Treasure Story, and The Evil Master of a Dark Dragon Protagonist, Xin Ci learns that all the dragon protagonists are blessed with tremendous fortune. He gathers all the scripts into his arms and says with a beaming smile:
"Only children have to choose. A good incubus takes them all."

At first, everything goes just fine. But somehow, the dragon protagonists discover one another.
His fiance, the dragon protagonist, grips his wrist with a crazed look in his eyes. "You kept saying you loved me. Liar."
His rival, the dragon protagonist, blocks every escape, drenched in blood and glaring furiously. "You provoked me, and now you think you can run? Not a chance."
His disciple, the dragon protagonist, kneels between his legs, shrouding him in shadow. "Master, I've never resented you for treating me so badly. But why couldn't you look at me a little more?"
The incubus Xin Ci, whose plans have backfired, remains unruffled. "It's not that I don't love you. My heart just broke into so many pieces that each one fell for someone different."
"But you're all my wings!"
Those words send the dragon protagonists completely mad. Later, rubbing his sore back, Xin Ci proves through personal experience that people shouldn't be so glib and greedy, and demons especially shouldn't.
