[Hunter X Hunter] I Thought We Were Brothers, but You Turned Out to Be...

Synopsis 1 When Killua was three, Silva gave him a little cat and told him to take good care of it. So, in addition to all his training, three-year-old Killua also had to feed the cat and clean its litter box every day. Killua poked the cat curled up on the bed. "Hey, Ashu, stop sleeping. We have to go to the training grounds." Ashu didn't even lift an eyelid. Its tail flicked impatiently. "Meow." Killua picked up the cat and held it in front of him, frowning as he examined it. "Come to think of it... you're already this big, but I've never seen you go into heat. Could something be wrong with you? Should I ask Milluki to take a look..." Ashu's fur instantly stood on end, and it slapped him across the face with one paw. "Mrow!!" Synopsis 2 The Hunter Exam Killua pulled a cat treat out of his pocket and fed it to Ashu. Ashu jumped into his lap, its tail tip swishing as it ate. Gon leaned closer, eyes shining. "Killua's cat is so well-behaved! What's its name?" Killua casually scratched under the cat's chin. "Ashu." Leorio stroked his chin. "A tomcat? It looks pretty delicate." Killua raised an eyebrow. "Of course it's a boy. I've had it for nine years. You think I wouldn't know?" He picked the cat up and gave it a shake. "Take a good look. A real man." Ashu: "Mrow!!" (Another swipe.) Later, Killua stared at the girl before him, dumbfounded. "...A-Ashu? Y-You weren't a boy?!" Theme: Happiness is won through hard work.
