[Let me explain. Honestly, I've been trying to get back into writing lately. Every day after work, I sit at my computer and revise and rewrite, then delete it all and start over. Writing this book has been a bit painful. At the beginning, I only had a rough framework, not a detailed outline, and I eagerly jumped right in, thinking I could figure things out as I went. Reality proved me very wrong. The long hiatus early on made me keep forgetting the details of the setting. I'd be writing and suddenly forget what I'd written in the previous chapter, so I'd go back and check, over and over. Then, after finishing a chapter, I'd decide it wasn't good enough and delete it. Earnings and all that are secondary. Because of the hiatus, I've been avoiding looking at the stats and the comments. I'm scared of seeing how disappointed everyone is. I want to take my time, but I also feel so much pressure, and I'm still adjusting to my new job. It feels like I'm anxious every single day. After thinking about it for a while, I've decided to take my time writing this book and give myself a little less pressure. I'm truly sorry. I logged in a couple of days ago and saw that one of my sweet readers had sent me a New Year's greeting. I'm so grateful you still remember me. I was deeply, deeply touched. I still don't want to give up on this book. After all, this is my first infinite-flow novel, and I don't want it to end like this. So I've decided to write at my own pace and add a little whenever inspiration strikes. I'll remember this lesson and won't start writing on impulse again. Next time, I'll have at least 100,000 words saved up before I even think about publishing. Finally, thank you all for your support, and thank you to everyone who's stood by me. I'm truly sorry. I accept any criticism. *bows*]
My upcoming historical danmei novel, Reborn as a Righteous Cultivator After Becoming the Demon Lord, is open for follows. Blurb below!
Lin City No. 1 High School has a transfer student named Jiang Fu. He's a strange one.
He sleeps in class, gets the worst grades, and often asks for leave. The teachers are very tolerant of him, and if he weren't so good-looking, his classmates probably wouldn't give him a second glance.
But Jiang Fu has a secret.
He suddenly falls asleep all the time, only to be forcibly dragged into a dream, where he has to clear one dungeon after another. If he fails, he can't wake up.
His classmates all think he's lazy and has given up on himself, and that he gets bad grades because class sounds like gibberish to him.
Then, in one of the dungeons, his classmates, trembling with fear, run into Jiang Fu. They stare at each other, speechless.
Then they watch Jiang Fu punch an NPC flying, solve advanced math problems as easily as 1 + 1, and chat and laugh with foreigners. He even finds the final boss and clears the dungeon perfectly. In tears, they all cling to Jiang Fu's leg and refuse to let go.
#Shock! My Classmate Seems to Be a Total Badass#
#See the waters of West Lake? Those are my tears of regret#
This novel was originally titled Dreaming of Duke Zhou Taking Me to Conquer the World.
- Best read after it has built up a backlog. I can't promise daily updates, but I'll do my best to keep them up.
- Infinite flow + school life. The dungeons are short, and there are gods, ghosts, and monsters.
- The protagonist clears dungeons through dreams. Reality and dreams alternate, and the real-world plot is a sweet school romance.
- The characters' values do not represent the author's. Please don't overanalyze.
Upcoming novel 1:
Reborn as a Righteous Cultivator After Becoming the Demon Lord, Yan Su x Xie Chu'an
The once mighty Demon Lord, who had struck fear into everyone's hearts, suddenly died, and the entire cultivation world erupted in celebration.
Everyone hurried to spread the news, joy plain on their faces. They wished they could set off a few fireworks that shot straight into the sky, and only one person was the exception.
That person was the Demon Lord Xie Chu'an's sworn enemy, the greatest Immortal Lord in the cultivation world, Immortal Lord Su'an.
Immortal Lord Su'an was highly respected throughout the cultivation world, yet he and Xie Chu'an were at odds in every way. Whenever they met, they would fight first. Everyone in the cultivation world knew it.
When news of Xie Chu'an's death arrived, Immortal Lord Su'an shut his doors to visitors and went into seclusion for three whole months. When he emerged, he was visibly quieter and more despondent.
Three years later, a group of young, inexperienced disciples came up the mountain. One of them shattered the talent-testing stone as soon as he entered the sect, causing a huge commotion. The sect leader dragged Immortal Lord Su'an along to watch the new disciples, and, contrary to his usual ways, he took the young man on as his final personal disciple.
Five years later, rumors began circulating through the cultivation world that Immortal Lord Su'an and his disciple were having a secret affair and were inseparable. The rumors were so detailed, it was as if someone had witnessed it all firsthand.
And in a stone cave somewhere on the back mountain, the usually aloof Immortal Lord Su'an was pinned against the rock wall by his little disciple. His cold eyes were full of surprise and fluster.
The young disciple leaned close to his ear, his voice tinged with a wicked smile.
"I hear Master has feelings for me. This disciple is truly flattered."
The tips of Immortal Lord Su'an's ears turned bright red, and his expression was terribly awkward.
"Mm."
"I... have feelings for you."
The Immortal Lord is the gong!!
Upcoming novel 2:
The School Hunk Has a Boyfriend
There's a saying that's always gone around City No. 1 High School:
Stay away from Ye Tingchuan, or you'll become unlucky.
At first, Yu Lan didn't understand what it really meant. Then he met Ye Tingchuan in person, and it suddenly made sense why so many people kept throwing themselves at him, one after another.
The boy leaned lazily against the doorway, a basketball in his arms. A passing breeze lifted the untucked hem of his school uniform, and he waved at the people in the classroom with a carefree smile.
The oppressive heat of midsummer seemed to vanish in an instant.
Thump, thump.
Yu Lan heard his own heart beating like a drum that wouldn't stop during a celebration.
As the undisputed school hunk of City No. 1 High School, Ye Tingchuan received countless love letters every day. He always threw them all away, leaving no one any hope.
Until he noticed someone who always blended into the crowd, watching him with the most passionate attention.
One day, Ye Tingchuan cornered him in the darkest corner of the stairwell, his gaze playful and wicked as it settled on the boy's face.
The boy's school uniform was zipped neatly to his collarbone, the collar folded down to reveal the fair skin of his neck.
Ye Tingchuan unconsciously softened his voice.
"Everyone else who likes me gives me love letters, chocolate, or snacks. What did you prepare for me?"
Yu Lan pressed himself against the wall, trying to calm his racing heart. At that, he looked flustered, his voice as faint as a mosquito's buzz.
"I don't have anything..."
He had nothing at all, just the most sincere and burning feelings of a young boy.
Theme: What you see with your eyes isn't necessarily the truth. Trust what you feel in your heart.
