When a Socially Anxious Person Enters an Escape Game

My upcoming novel, I Became a Stellar War God Through Food, is open for favorites!!

Xia Yi signs up for The Ladder. If she can survive six rounds, she'll not only stay alive but also earn a huge sum in prize money.

She might even find a way to treat her disabled legs.

And there's no problem with being violent in the game, either.

Xia Yi dreams about the future, but forgets the most important thing: she has social anxiety.

Can someone with social anxiety ask other people for clues?

Can they interact with teammates naturally and clear a multiplayer game?

No... No... They absolutely can't!

To make matters worse, her social anxiety comes with a short temper. As soon as she enters the game, it kicks in and she hits the guide. As a result, all the other escapees turn into little kids, while she stands among them in an adult's body.

Xia Yi, facing a whole group of children: "..."

This game is messed up!!

The viewers watching Xia Yi's livestream originally just wanted to see how this timid, introverted newcomer would die.

But they never expected...

"Holy crap, the monster believed her just like that?? Because she said she was insecure and introverted and never lied? I've told the truth in the game and not a single ghost believed me."

"Does this ghost never hide anything from Xia Yi because it thinks she's easy to manipulate? I'm jealous. Seriously, I'm so jealous!"

Xia Yi is messed up!!

Max-level combat skills and all-around capable heroine x refined scoundrel hero with perfect logic

Includes livestreaming.

The hero takes the form of a little cat in the game. What could a little cat possibly do wrong? JPG.

Upcoming novel blurb

Mental Manifestation has undergone a long period of development, giving rise to countless forms: mecha, rocket launchers, even nuclear bombs and medical pods...

In the interstellar era, Mental Manifestation is like a second chance at life for the people of the stars.

Countless interstellar academies include the results of Mental Manifestation in their admissions criteria.

Wei Xi transmigrates right in the middle of a Mental Manifestation test. She stares speechlessly at the black frying pan in her hands. "Ha!"

She takes the score the examiner gives her manifestation: 60 points.

Assessment result: An ordinary pan. Its evolved form cannot be predicted.

Recommended major: Logistics.

Wei Xi takes the recommendation to heart and applies to the logistics departments of four top combat academies. In the end, she barely makes it into the remote Third Empire Academy, which has the largest logistics department.

At the academy competition, she is assigned to the logistics team to cook.

Half an hour later, she produces a plate of egg fried rice that's pleasing to the eye and nose, and just about edible.

Once the fried rice is ready, countless crawling ants swarm into the pan. The food visibly diminishes before Wei Xi's eyes. She watches the ants die after eating her food and is stunned. How the hell can she serve this to her teammates?

A single crawling ant is worth a pitiful 0.5 points.

But there are so many of them.

The combat students from Third Empire Academy watch helplessly as their school's score climbs from dead last, bit by bit, to first place.

Theme: The best way to overcome fear is to make sure it can never reach you.
