The Fallen Emperor's Unfavored Empress, the White Lotus, and More

The emperor loves a white lotus living outside the palace. He sleeps with his gentle, refined, well-born empress, whom he doesn't love, and with eight pretty girls as well. Once his position is secure and the white lotus can enter the palace, the empress loses heart, while the white lotus spends every day sobbing and whining. After the white lotus enters the palace, the emperor decides she's not all that special. Then, while out carousing beyond the palace walls, he falls head over heels for a random girl at first sight. ...Content warnings: 1. No one is chaste, and most characters don't find lasting love. 2.
