--Blurb for this story--
Tan Shi transmigrated into a novel with a male lead and no romance, becoming the sickly deskmate of the villain, a character so insignificant he didn't even get a name. Frail and delicate, he could barely take a few steps without gasping. Then he got a Study System.
Studying hard could extend his life, but the System was incredibly stingy. Tan Shi studied himself to exhaustion, yet still spent every day hovering on the brink of an early grave. Then, one day, the System upgraded and the point values changed:
[The Host can earn 1 point by reciting one full passage. One point extends their life by one hour.]
[Help a good character recite one full passage to earn 2 points.]
[Help a villain recite one full passage to earn 10 points.]
Ten times as much!!!
Tan Shi turned around in excitement. Lu Zhe, the future big villain, was catching up on sleep next door, shining like a living Buddha!
*
Since the best place to get close to him was right next door, Tan Shi...
At the corner of the stairs, boys laughed and horsed around while Tan Shi followed right behind Lu Zhe, earnestly reciting his lesson: "Ahem, ahem... Listen a little longer... Ahem, ahem... If you hear it a few more times, you'll definitely be able to recite it..."
In the narrow alley behind school, two groups faced off. Tan Shi chased after Lu Zhe, obediently opening his physics workbook: "Panting... The objects in options A and B are wrong... panting... The range in option D is incomplete..."
At a late-night street food stall, after explaining the day's roots and affixes, Tan Shi put away his English book and walked off, gasping every few steps. Before Lu Zhe left in a hurry, he put out everyone's cigarettes and warned them sternly, "Be polite. Remember to say hello when you see him from now on."
The next day, when they saw Tan Shi again, everyone lined up and shouted in unison, with utmost respect: "Tan! Shi! Hello!"
Tan Shi: ???
*
After getting a second chance at life, Lu Zhe let go of his resentment and grudges, studied hard, and worked to improve himself every day. All he wished for was that his frail little sickling would stay healthy, safe, and happy.
Tan Shi looked at the list of good and bad characters the System had helped compile and fell into deep thought: Should I help a few more villains? If they're all as well-behaved as Lu Zhe, I won't have to worry about my early grave next year!

I Extend My Life by Playing Villains [Book Transmigration]
Chen Xi, once notorious for her scandals, had finally stopped causing trouble and started taking roles that better suited her breathtaking looks: all kinds of villains.
Her haters were pleased, sitting down in rows to watch the villains played by Chen Xi meet gruesome ends after one reckless act after another.
Among the many villains who served as punching bags for the protagonists, Chen Xi's villains stood out on an entirely different level. They were clearly sinister and ruthless, yet there always seemed to be a trace of lingering conscience in their eyes.
Ordinary viewers began tagging the screenwriter: "I feel like this character can still be saved!"
When the screenwriter was in a bind, Chen Xi posted: "Wake up, everyone. She deserves to be punished for breaking half the criminal code!"
She became her own biggest hater, refusing to redeem her characters and personally making sure each one was brought down.
Haters: "Damn, why is that kind of cute?"
*
No matter how weak the main plot or lead characters were, Chen Xi could carry her own storyline all by herself.
If the main plot and lead characters could hold their own against the spotlight of Chen Xi's villain roles, the show was sure to become a massive hit.
Chen Xi became a sensation playing villains, and the industry's most sought-after star. Though she played supporting roles, she was a sure bet at the box office, leaving the actors who worked with her both loving and hating her.
After sweeping the major awards for supporting actresses, Chen Xi's fans had just one wish: "Xi, please play a lead role! Or at least play a good person!"
*
Chen Xi had a secret.
After she transmigrated, she got bound to a life-extending System that required her to exchange the intense emotions she felt while playing villains for more time to live.
Chen Xi, who spent every day on the brink of an early grave, said against her better judgment: "I will play the darkness forever, so that I may illuminate the light of this world."
*
Xu Yang, the young master of the Xu family, was born without the ability to feel emotions, cold and withdrawn.
He could neither recognize emotions nor feel joy or sorrow. Then one day, he was moved. He raised a finger and gently brushed the tear that glistened in the corner of the villain's eye on the screen.
Chen Xi was the first ray of light Xu Yang had ever seen in this world.
Theme: Be a good person.
Why do I feel that Wu and Yang in the back are more attractive to me?
I feel like the things with the surname Wu were not explained clearly, and I feel confused. Congratulations on the completion.
I just clicked on the column and found out that the author is the same as the villain Chen Xi. I've read it all. It's great.
I read the rest, especially the ending, with a frown on my face. Don't force tragedy or force a twist/reversal... The first part of this article is what I saw in the introduction, and the second part is like the introduction collapse... Stick to the end. It can't be said that I felt lonely after seeing a mystery.
The flow of time is different, so Qin Shi will only be in this world in the future, and Lu Zhe will grow old, she will not... There is no extra story, and it feels like the two of them are hiding their knives everywhere. It is a pity that the endings of the other male supporting characters are not explained!
Was the ending a little rushed? Don't quite understand?
Is Yang Cheng a villain⊙ω⊙It feels like he knows a lot
Also, what does the failure to rescue Wu Xun mean? Why do you say you haven't caught up?
It's so imaginative... I read it several times before I understood it.
Woohoo, I want a side story from Kangkang's observer's point of view. What happened to him in the end, what did he think, oh my God, all I can think about is his last words, "Goodbye, kid."
