[Punishing: Gray Raven] Where Whales Fall, All Things Bloom

“From a biological perspective, a whale fall is the phenomenon of a whale sinking to the ocean floor after it dies.”

“A whale’s death marks the beginning of countless lives on the ocean floor. Its death creates an environment where hundreds of species can survive for decades, even centuries. In the lonely darkness of the seafloor, it becomes the warmest oasis.”

“This is its warmest, deepest, and final confession to the ocean.”

The entire story is written in the second person. The protagonist is female by default, and her name is replaced with ■■■■■.
