The Ancient Lady's Doomsday Shelter

Irregular updates. A slowly written story.

Li Ao is born into a family of military generals. He can charge into battle to kill enemies or hold the frontier and defend the land.

Yet he has a delicate, charming appearance, and his snow-white skin is even silkier than satin.

He looks more like a pampered young lady from a sheltered household than any young woman in all of Kyoto.

While Li Ao is fretting over this, he suddenly finds himself in a strange world.

All that remains between heaven and earth are desolate ruins. There is no food,

only enormous ferocious beasts rampaging everywhere, while humanity huddles in hiding, barely clinging to life.

A thing calling itself the System says it can build shelters:

100 iron ore + 400 stone + 100 ferocity points = a rudimentary bathroom,

50 yellow earth + 50 stone + 50 ferocity points = a low-end heated kang bed.

For a flushing toilet and a warm bed, Li Ao takes up his blade and heads into the ruins.

The people who survived the apocalypse are cunning and ruthless, greedy as vultures.

They survey everything around them with ill intent,

and the moment they spot an opportunity, they bite off a chunk.

Unfortunately for them, they run into Li Ao and get their teeth knocked out.

The arrival of this beautiful woman stirs many hearts.

They tease and mock her without restraint, until the quiet young woman goes out

and returns with a top-tier dragon beast. Then every last one of them falls to their knees.
