Blurb:

Lin Zhi first noticed Mo Yu after the senior-year class reshuffle. He was the class monitor. One day, during a math exam, he outscored her and snatched away her spot in the math competition.

Lin Zhi took it as a challenge. She wanted to drag this aloof flower down from his pedestal.

She failed. Mo Yu only looked at her coolly.

After graduating from high school and college, Lin Zhi became a freelance illustrator. One day, a client contacted her and sent her a collection of pictures from her high school days.

Every single one had been taken secretly.

Lin Zhi was curious about who the client was. Either a pervert or someone with a secret crush on her.

To her surprise, she ran into Mo Yu one night at a bar.

Under the lights, his skin was pale, the buttons of his white shirt slightly undone. His eyes were clear and amused as he looked at her and gently raised his glass.

For some reason, Lin Zhi's heart began to race.

He was like a cat trying to beguile her.

Mo Yu slowly walked over, smiling. "Lin Zhi, didn't you want to pursue me?"

Before she could answer, he added casually, "Or have you set your sights on someone else?"

Lin Zhi: ...?

Later, she found out that the client was Mo Yu, and that he had taken all those photos himself.

He had also stolen her spot in the math competition and suddenly shot up in the rankings because of her.

Yet back in high school, he had acted as though none of it mattered.
