The first chapter was written for Jiang Cheng's detractors. Here, I'd like to say something for his fans. I'm not a Jiang Cheng fan, or anyone's fan, for that matter. I just watched the TV series The Untamed this year. I fell in love with the story of The Untamed and with the characters in the show, but I wouldn't say I'm a fan. I like Jiang Cheng because he represents the truth of human nature. There are reasons behind every step he takes and every decision he makes at each stage of his life. As for why I like Wei Wuxian, it's because he represents the light in human nature. To put Jiang Cheng's appeal in a single sentence: If you were in his situation, you probably wouldn't do any better than him! As for Wei Wuxian, it's: Why, even when you're in such a situation, are you still so good? In the end, heroes will always deserve praise. I could never be like him, so I will always respect and admire him. But that's also why I like Wei Wuxian more than Jiang Cheng. That's all. I don't feel like elaborating.
