[Sentinel and Guide] Brothers at War

Updates whenever I feel like it

Blurb:

My name is Millie, and I'm a Guide pretending to be an ordinary person.

I used to live in the Tower, and life was wonderful. The only problem was that my mentor was always trying to set me up on blind dates.

For nineteen years, I'd never wanted to fall in love, get married, or have children, so I was completely against anyone making those decisions for me.

Isn't being single great? Why do Guides have to be matched with Sentinels? How could I spend the rest of my life, and my nights, bound to a stranger as soon as I graduate?

I, Millie, the most outstanding Guide in my class, struggled in vain and nearly got locked up in solitary confinement. So I decided to run away.

But not long after escaping, just as I was preparing to hide out at my chosen safe house for the last few months before adulthood, I discovered that the woman my cheap old dad was set to marry had seven sons.

Yes, that's right. I suddenly had seven stepbrothers, and all seven... were Sentinels.

My first heat after coming of age was fast approaching, and I figured I needed to find somewhere safe to lie low for a while.

But just as I'd packed my bags and was about to skip town, I turned around and found seven roadblocks in my way.

I could feel the universe's deep, deep malice toward me.

I felt nothing at all. There was only one thing that could express how I felt:

Damn, I'm screwed.

Reader's Guide:

1. The heroine is calculating, not the idiot she seems to be in the blurb.

2. Sentinel-Guide worldbuilding, with a mountain of original settings.

3. Third-person perspective.

4. A thrilling, swoony rivalry for the heroine's affections.

5. A few secret identities are revealed.

6. Open ending.
