[Genre] The Silmarillion fanfiction.
[Disclaimer] Arda and everything in Arda belong to Professor J.R.R. Tolkien. The only thing that belongs to me is the mistakes in this story.
[Main Character] Ecthelion
[Supporting Characters] Glorfindel, the entire House of Finwe
[Warnings] Unfinished; character death; not what it says on the tin; bizarre, non-canonical heterosexual pairing (Ecthelion & Aredhel); original characters (several, none of them main characters); third-person POV (multiple characters, including some unusual ones).
This story is only one imagining based on the original works. It does not represent canon in any way, nor can it even represent my true opinions of the characters. It is simply a story with some basis in the source material, nothing more.
This version uses the Wenjing edition's translations and contains no Chinese-English mixed text. Versions retaining the original names of people and places can be found in the volumes of Parts One through Three.

[Important Revision Notes]
June 2016: Issue 49 of Vinyar Tengwar, published by the Elvish Linguistic Fellowship, says that Elves are ambidextrous, and that left-handedness has no association with evil. When facing west, the left points away from Morgoth; when facing north, it points toward Aman. However, the published Silmarillion emphasizes that Maedhros learned to wield a sword with his left hand after losing his right, suggesting that Elves do have a dominant hand.
May 2015: At last, I removed a certain completely unnecessary plot point. Such perverse humor really is a bad thing = =
March 2015: An article in issue 41 of Vinyar Tengwar, published by the Elvish Linguistic Fellowship, explicitly states in “From The Shibboleth of Feanor” that Nerdanel had brown hair and a ruddy complexion, not copper-red hair (“A marginal note against that discussion provides the detail that Nerdanel herself had brown hair and a ruddy complexion”). So I revised every description of her hair color in this story.
It must have been almost seven or eight years since I first opened Boss's book. I still can't forget the shock and emotion I felt when I read this book. The Silmarillion has always been a cold spot. I didn't expect that I accidentally came to Jinjiang to search for fanfiction and came across such a masterpiece by accident. I read it in class during the day and in bed at night. Thanks to the boss's words for enriching my Tolkien world. I unilaterally forced everyone to bow their heads and admit: Boss Ecthelion is the god of the Tolkien fandom!! [Rose][Orange candy] I got it [Orange candy] I got it [Orange candy] I got it [Orange candy] I got it
I came here to do some archeology. There is really too little information about Yongquan (call the teacher first)
I feel really sorry for Fingolfin, he is the favorite of all the Noldor. It was clear that Finwë was indecisive, but he was forced to accept the consequences of being wronged by his biological father and swallow his anger.
The interaction is very loving~~~~Irisse really has a good relationship with the Fei family... But I think everyone loves her so much, even Maedhros does whatever she says... Ecthelion was so attracted by Turgon... What a stupid guy... XD
Finrod is going to help Beren steal the Silmarillion, which is to light a fire on Fenorion's head. It would be strange if Celegorm and Curufin, two ruthless men, don't betray him.
After rock climbing, I used it twice: Surprise Attack on Swan Harbor (?) And Eagle Bear Rescue Mei 2333
Ahhhhhhh, kiss! I'm still so excited when I read the article from ten years ago
It made me so sad that I cried in the middle of the night
By chance, I first came across "The Lord of the Rings" in an English textbook. The teacher played clips from the movie, and I became addicted to Tuolao's words from then on. I spent the whole winter vacation catching up on the movie, and secretly bought the original work myself, which made me even more uncontrollable - especially for a legendary epic like "The Silmarillion," which made me cry repeatedly. However, the text of "The Diamond" is sometimes too concise... It took me a while to find Mrs. Fountain's article, and I was full of joy. In my opinion, the story of Ecthelion is rich and touching, and it fits the original work well. The setting is rigorous, and the smooth and beautiful writing really makes people feel extremely comfortable!! It also rarely shows the inner world of the elves (in comparison, "The Silmarillion" really barely touches on this aspect orz) and it feels like a new continent has been opened (...). Unfortunately, I only jumped into this epic pit this year, and some of the last chapters were locked when I was reading the article... But I still thank my wife for her hard work (?) On this story! Thank you also for your efforts in translating Tolkien's works into Chinese! It seems that the Chinese translation of "The Fall of Gondolin" will be published this year, (I wish it all the best!) By then, I may be able to return to the seven-named city that I have imagined countless times from those pages, and listen to the moving flute of Ecthelion...
The behavior of the baboon before and after is really bad
