(I'm not in a good place creatively and don't feel like writing this story for now. Sorry.)
1.
The next time Jiang Chi encountered Xu Yanli, it was snowing.
A snowball hit Jiang Chi on the shoulder. He stood beneath a dim yellow streetlight, as tall and straight as he had been back then.
Just as Jiang Chi thought he no longer remembered her, he suddenly grabbed her wrist from behind. His voice seemed filled with hatred.
"You've grown your wings."
2.
Xu Yanli of Jishui No. 1 High School was carefree and unruly, yet bright and unspoiled, the undisputed pride of the heavens.
Only Jiang Chi knew she liked Xu Yanli.
Like a little blade of grass, she grew slowly but steadily around him throughout her youth.
Later, Xu Yanli's family suffered a sudden upheaval, and he sank into despair. Everyone was completely disappointed in him.
No one knew that Jiang Chi had imitated the handwriting of everyone in their class to write him countless letters, hoping he would remain as spirited and confident as before.
3.
Jiang Chi spent several days and nights making a little bell bracelet, then carefully placed it in a small box.
At the corridor corner where she planned to give him the bracelet, she heard someone talking to Xu Yanli.
The person asked Xu Yanli, "What do you think of Jiang Chi?"
"She's pretty pitiful, but she's not quite what I'm looking for," he said.
Jiang Chi's secret love ended on that sweltering afternoon.
The sky was blue and the wind was still. Her unrequited love came to an end just as quietly, without ever having begun.
Like all the ordinary people among the multitudes.
/Those who meet again will meet again
/That's what I say
From high school to the city, two people save each other
A happy ending after a long separation.
