[Original] Finch
[Translation] Ecthelion
[Permission] Authorized: "If you've translated the Athrabeth itself - one of Tolkien's most fascinating stories - you're no doubt more than qualified to translate Fell Fire."
This story was a finalist for Best Silmarillion at the 2003 Mithril Awards. However, since each author could have only one work among the finalists, Finch chose another work based on her personal preference. In Finch's own words, "After all, this is merely derivative; it can't hold a candle to the real thing." It is a derivative work about Andreth and Aegnor, expanding on the ideas in the essay "Athrabeth Finrod ah Andreth" (HoMe 10) and offering some analysis of the characters' psychology. Though it is not an entirely independent work, it is undoubtedly a valuable interpretation.

💔 Why is it so sad... As expected, it will be even sadder if you read a fan spin-off and then write the unfinished story according to the original direction 🤔 And there is no solution... Even if you have the right to choose your destiny, it is sad, because in the end we have to separate, unless we leave at the same time🥲
…I was crying all over. Recently, I have been working tirelessly to draw various AA CP pictures, which are just good times spent together. I don't have the guts to draw sadistic pictures yet QAQ. After reading it, I felt completely bad. Too bad.
