Only after Mu Xi died in a car accident in a foreign country did she learn that she was a cannon-fodder supporting character in a wealthy-family romance, while the delicate white-flower heroine was her foster sister, who had lived with her family since childhood. Her family and friends were all cannon fodder, and under the powerful protagonist halo, they all met tragic ends.
Reborn, she vowed to change the tragedy of her previous life, protect her family and friends, and live a wonderful life of her own.

"Ding! The Cannon Fodder Rise System has been bound. Host can complete study tasks to get what they want and save the cannon fodder!"
So Mu Xi embarked on a path of becoming absorbed in her studies and dedicated to saving cannon fodder.
Cannon fodder one: Her father. His lung cancer was treated in time, he stayed in great health, and the company never fell into the hands of the white-flower heroine's uncle.
Cannon fodder two: Her gentle childhood friend. She helped him relieve his mental stress and anxiety, and avoid the original heroine's provocation. The plot where he suddenly dies from a heart attack never happens, and he successfully achieves his dream.
Cannon fodder three: Her best friend. She escaped her sexist family and continued her education without a hitch.
Later, the obsessive villain from the original story pinned her against the door, holding her captive in his arms. His voice low and strained, he asked, "You've saved so many people. Why won't you save me?"
Mu Xi: "...Big brother, are you cannon fodder?"
I was once lost in the mud, but your purity rekindled the heart that had long lain dormant. I never wanted to get involved with you, but since you've come close of your own accord, don't blame me for not letting you go.
