I am a County Magistrate in Ancient Times

[Ordinary ancient setting, cozy farming, no childbirth]

Just after poverty alleviation official Duan Jin completed his mission to eradicate poverty, he stepped into thin air and became a county magistrate in another place, with nothing and no one to his name.

A dignified seventh-rank magistrate, with no staff, no land, and no money.

So he got to work diligently and started his poverty alleviation efforts all over again.

No people? I'll recruit them myself.

No land? I'll get people to clear the wasteland.

But no money... That's a problem.

Word has it that the young prince who just arrived for an inspection has a very full private treasury, and is the emperor's most beloved younger brother.

Looks like money won't be a problem after all.

Duan Jin looked at the young prince, who in just a few days had gone from fair and cool-toned to a sun-kissed tan under his care. Feeling a rare twinge of conscience, he picked up a pretty starfish and gave it to him.

Xiao Yunqing: Mm...

He blinked, then pulled an even bigger, prettier luminous pearl from his robes. "Would you take this instead?"

Duan Jin: !!!
