Dyeing the Moonlight

When Xu Jincheng had a crush on Zhou Xinian, the wildest thing she ever did was post a comment on a boring TV show: "Xu Jincheng likes Zhou Xinian. A lot." Years later, Xu Jincheng had long gotten over her teenage crush and was working as Zhou Xinian's overworked 996 assistant, wearing a professional fake smile. Then one night, the usually haughty Mr. Zhou turned passionate and pulled her into a night of debauchery. Xu Jincheng told herself, "I'll just think of tonight as finally fulfilling an old wish." The next morning, she woke up and handed in her resignation with a flourish. "I got you in bed, and now I'm leaving. Thanks for having me." Zhou Xinian crumpled the resignation letter in a fit of anger. "Fine. Just fine." - When they met again, Xu Jincheng had become a famous Hanfu influencer with a million followers. But a predatory MCN agency was demanding twenty million yuan to let her go independent. With no other choice, Xu Jincheng went to Zhou Xinian for help. Holding the IOU she'd written between his long fingers, Zhou Xinian narrowed his eyes. "How are you going to pay me back?" Xu Jincheng thought Mr. Zhou wanted her to write up a repayment plan. Instead, she heard him say lightly, "Pay me back in kind." Xu Jincheng went on to get intimate with Mr. Zhou many more times. * Later, Zhou Xinian saw the confession comment from back then and asked Xu Jincheng about it. She replied, "Oh, I didn't post that." The next day, Xu Jincheng saw a new comment on that same TV show: "Zhou Xinian loves Xu Jincheng. A lot. (Posted by the real Zhou Xinian.)"
