Wife Cakes Have No Wife, Batman Games...

What would you do when the long-awaited immersive game finally arrives? It's set in Gotham and combines romance with action, but you discover that neither Batman nor Bruce Wayne is a romance option, and neither are any of the Robins?

Danya: Is this happening again?! A wife cake with no wife, and a Batman game with no Batman?!

Danya: What's the point of setting the story in Gotham, then??? What's the point???

Danya: But I've already bought it... I might as well give it a try.

She had no idea that the game pod was connected to the real Gotham.

She'd meant to play a nice, immersive city-building game, but Gotham was just too chaotic! Could any female player really ignore a woman being harassed on the street, even if she was only a game character?

Danya: Okay, so this is where the action game comes in!

Danya: If I'm beating people up in Gotham, it seems wrong not to pay tribute to Batman, right? (Puts on black armor and a black cape.)

A year later, Bruce Wayne returned to Gotham after traveling the world, intending to begin fighting crime in disguise. The moment he stepped onto the street...

Thug: Oh God, that terrifying woman is back!! Waaah, I'll tell you anything...

Bruce: ?

Bruce, who wasn't Batman yet, returned home and reflected: I see. Embodying terror really is the way to get information in Gotham... This like-minded senior has thought much further ahead than I have. I need to talk to her.

Danya: ??????????

A short to medium-length story, which should wrap up pretty quickly. If there's a pairing, it'll be Bruce/Danya.

Danya is a Hebrew name meaning "Gift of God." I also found another source saying it means "Judgment of God."

Theme: In a Batman game, you can build a city and beat people up, but you can't romance Batman. Does that make any sense?
