Because I think it's relevant to what the author here has to say, I'll leave it here~
ps. Among the soul memories and book knowledge absorbed by the demilich, aren't there any 'common sense' books? After Sirius suggested twice that his manners were wrong, he could actually give such a weird argument again...
──That is, Ravenclaw, who is famous for his wisdom, has blue and bronze as his representative colors. Why didn't the demilich pay attention to this... OTZ
Regarding Mrs. Potter, I have always felt that the professor took her so seriously and remembered her for so long, and a large part of it was the result of a combination of circumstances:
They used to be best friends, good enough to resist the pressure of their respective colleges and continue to communicate with each other, but later they broke up because of the professor's words.
──Of course, we can also make a very dark guess. In fact, of course, Miss Evans is probably because the pressure on her in the college for a long time has reached the critical point, so she just took this opportunity to make a clean break.
After leaving school, without the pressure of their respective colleges, the friendship that could have been reunited has become more difficult because of Miss Evans's vision of choosing a mate and the camps they joined.
It can be seen here that Miss Evans is truly determined to sever the friendship that has lasted nearly ten years. This can be clearly seen from the spouse she chose and the camp she joined.
But the professor couldn't do it.
Miss Evans's timing was so good that everything seemed to be the professor's fault, so she could have a clean break, but the professor had to feel guilty for it.
These things are not very serious in the first place, but maybe after a long time, it will become a regret. Things have changed, and maybe there will still be a chance to become friends again in the future.
But suddenly overnight, the professor discovered that the friend he still couldn't let go was in trouble, and this disaster was brought about by himself, so he felt guilty, so he had to sell himself after being rejected by the owner.
How ridiculous. If the enemy leader was as upright as he symbolized, he shouldn't have said, 'What can you do for me? ', But should say righteously, 'They are my subordinates, and I will naturally protect them! '
It's a pity that the professor at that time was too young. Like a drowning man, he gave everything just to get a promise. Slytherin valued commitment and did not do anything without value, so the professor believed that since he had paid, he should be treated equally.
Then what?
After he sold himself, the person he wanted to protect still died.
Because he is dead, his apology can never be forgiven;
Because he is dead, that friend is sublime in his heart;
Because the other party's death is his own responsibility, the better the other party sublimates in his heart, the heavier his guilt for causing this situation will be.
If the author in the previous comment said: "If you don't make your own decisions about emotional matters, they won't be resolved cleanly."
But the other person involved is dead, and this relationship will never be broken.
The living can never compete with the dead.
The dead have become branding irons, leaving a mark on the hearts of the living that can never be erased.
Then there is Lao Deng.
In my opinion, the relationship between the professor and Lao Deng was a transaction. The professor knew that his price was too low, so he said: 'Anything.'
He gave it all and negotiated a deal - but it was a failed deal.
The person he wanted to protect was still dead.
Regarding this outcome, the righteous leader said: 'They trusted the wrong person. '
He doesn't say, 'I didn't close our deal. ', Nor say: 'This is my negligence. '
All he said was: 'They trusted the wrong person. '
─The subtext is: 'It's not my fault. '
His behavior was clearly that he took the payment but left the shipment to others. Only when something went wrong did he say: 'They made a mistake. '
If he didn't make a deal with the professor, then he said this, 'They trusted the wrong person. 'No problem;
But the problem is that he made a deal, he got a spy who can probe the deepest, but he failed to realize his own admission. Could it be that he couldn't even say "I'm sorry" or "It's my fault, I thought they could handle it by themselves"?
What's even more amazing is that this old guy can actually ask the professor to continue to lurk for him at that moment that will inevitably come in the future; ask the professor to protect the child, the child of the woman who he paid everything but failed to get back - and this time, the old man does not have to pay any price, just keep poking his wounds, keep talking about the woman, keep reminding him that he should repent and atone for his sins...
But seriously, whose fault is this?
The professor made a mistake in this matter, but it can only be said to be an unintentional mistake. From his position at the time, he did not do anything wrong (could there be a problem with telling his boss important information? It would be a problem if he didn't tell it! He didn't know at the time when the due date of his friend who had broken off the relationship was);
The 'informer' was bound to be wrong, but wasn't Lao Deng right?
─He made a promise but couldn't keep it.
He could even say, "You know how and why she died. Don't let her death be in vain. Help me protect her son." In this case, how shameless can he be? (╯‵□')╯┴─┴
The author's reply in the previous review mentioned that Lao Deng avoided and denied his past self because of the mistakes he made when he was young. When the Potter family was killed, he did not apologize to the professor (because it was his side that failed to fulfill his promise). Can it be said that he has become a habit of escaping and can no longer even admit his mistakes!
Because you avoid your own mistakes, do you think you are right, and can you make more demands?
The old man kept saying that he had done something wrong, but at the same time he continued to make mistakes.
Yes as a boy, yes after defeating the first Dark Lord, and even after defeating the second Dark Lord.
When Harry. When Potter first arrived at Hogwarts, he faced an environment where children loudly said that Slytherin would be a dark wizard in the future and that his family would be all Death Eaters.
If such remarks are allowed to continue to spread on the campus, and the three houses are hostile to the Snake House, who will believe that this old man really knows that he is wrong?
At least, I wouldn't.
Look~~Why do you need to lock everything?
